About
As a dedicated medical professional, my commitment to patient-focused care is unwavering. I have a unique ability to connect with everyone I work with, from patients and their families to my colleagues and co-workers. My intuitive listening skills and exceptional bedside manner enhance my effectiveness as a physician, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate and comprehensive care.
My passion for medicine is evident in every aspect of my education and professional training. I attended UCLA for my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and received my M.D. from UCLA in 2001. Following this, I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona in 2004.
In Phoenix, I served as the Lead Physician for IPN of Arizona, where I managed physicians across three hospitals and a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. I was responsible for the scheduling, planning, and optimization of care for managed care patients.
As the Medical Director for Tri-City Medical Associates, I directed the day-to-day medical management of providers at four different facilities. My role included overseeing strategic planning, conflict resolution, and direct patient care programs.
In 2008, I joined Sound Physicians and have since worked at several facilities in Phoenix, most recently Arizona Heart Hospital and Phoenix Baptist Hospital. I was fortunate to continue my work with Sound as a Hospitalist.
In December 2023, I joined Scottsdale Inpatient Specialist as a hospitalist, further expanding my expertise and dedication to patient care.
Throughout my career, I have held several leadership roles, including Governing Board Member and Medical Executive Committee Member at Promise Specialty Hospital, Medical Executive Committee Member and Co-Chair of the Quality Council at St. Luke's, and Chair of the Quality Council at Mountain Vista Medical Center.
Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about both medicine and basketball. If you'd like to discuss either, feel free to reach out.
